Finding your Fitness Motivation [Body at Rest, Stays at Rest]


Today's Fitness Fridays is finding your MOTIVATION again!  Have you stuck with your New Year's goals for fitness, or did you put them on the back burner?  Sometimes to change the trajectory of your life, you have to just take the FIRST STEP!

I am the first to admit that my workouts haven't been where I want them to.  I have been skipping one workout a week, and the intensity hasn't been the best.  I'm still working out about 4 times a week, but I really like that to be 5 or 6.

Newton's First Law of Motion says:  "Newton's First Law of Motion states that a body at rest will remain at rest unless an outside force acts on it, and a body in motion at a constant velocity will remain in motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an outside force."  So a body at rest stays at rest, and a body in motion, stays in motion! 

This means.. TAKE the FIRST step.  Start moving your body because once you are moving you will to KEEP moving!  Do something for yourself!  Your mind will feel better and your body will feel better! 

Don't think negatively about the past or what you haven't accomplished.  Start TODAY!  Take the steps instead of taking the elevator.  Drink and extra bottle of water.  Swap out your dressing and try to Italian or Balsamic, instead of Ranch!  You can DO this!!
