More About Myself!

More about Myself

Hello everyone!!! I've realized that I haven't shared much about myself, and I do apologize for that!!

My name is Ashley and I created this page/blog because I am the ultimate online deal finder! I also think that when you look fabulous, you feel fabulous!  (My best friend also gently nudged me on this point!  Thank you to her for making this happen!)

I am a nurse (of almost 10 years) and still work at the bedside, despite having a double master's degree. (Some people, especially ones I am caring for, find it strange for some reason that I have a master's degree but I am at the bedside..) I stepped down from the management world over the summer because I found it too challenging to devote my time at home and at work. I love helping and taking care of people. I also teach online in an RN-BSN program! LOVE shaping mind's of nurses!

I'm married to my wonderful husband, Leo! He's the one that has me promote more things for the guys! Together, we have one daughter, Addison. She is feisty, smater than a whip, and keeps us on our toes! But we just adore her!

I'm also an identical twin, who is also a nurse! She has a "son" named Victor, the pig! So, yeah, my nephew is a pig! She treats that little piggy better than some humans!

Whew, I didn't think I would be this long-winded!

Also, I LOVE to SHARE my SUCCESS! That means, I can do more GIVEAWAYS!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and following me! I appreciate your support more than you will ever know!

Halloween Fun!

Meet Shrek and his donkey!!  Shrek just happened to be on the television a couple months ago, so we decided to let her watch it.  She has been obsessed with him ever since!!!  I kept on asking her what she wanted to dress up as, at it was ALWAYS Shrek!  I asked if she wanted to be Princess Fiona.. NOPE!  Shrek!!  So Shrek we were!!  Even though, I think only one person really could properly identify her without us telling them!  That is okay!  Here is her with her ogre roar!

Safety first!  You need to make sure that Shrek and his donkey all have glow sticks on!  Poor little donkey!

We lasted about an hour and then she wanted to come home and hand out candy to the other kids!  I love seeing all the kiddos dressed up!  Some outfits are SO creative!!  What were your kiddos dressed up as?  Let me know below!

Do You Date Your Spouse?

Do you Date Your Spouse?!

Do you "date" your spouse?? I used to think that was silly when I was younger, not married and without kids when someone said they "dated" their spouse! I guess I was just naive and didn't understand what it really meant.  However, now that I have been married for 4 years, and have a small child, I know realize how important it is to date your spouse.  Even if it is just for a quick dinner, by ourselves, it is nice to get away and just have time to ourselves.  (Even though we mostly talk about the little one).

We recently went to a college football game and had a blast!  It started raining, and we were running around the city, getting to our car, in the pouring rain!   It was so much fun!!!

Have you ever gone an entire day and not even really look at your spouse?  Not even realize what they had on?  I'm guilty for that and need to fix it ASAP!  It's so very hard with the busyness of life and how hectic it could be.  Let me know your date night ideas!

Apple picking!

We decided we would go to a local farm to pick apples and have some fall fun!  The trek was almost 50 miles one way!  We were reluctant to go, but my sister thought it would be fun.. so we go!  Turns out.. apple picking was not happening that weekend!  We did pick some acorns, and an apple from their market!!

Twins Doing Twin-Things!

Here's some photos of my twin and myself!  We are both nurses.. both have our MSNs, and are both certified.  I am a mama of a two-year-old, and she is a mama of a mini-pig!
